Our accountancy course covers several key aspects of accounting and can be transferred directly into a trainee accountancy role.
It is perfect for someone who wants to begin a new career in accounting, as well as those who have been out of accounting for some time and want to brush up on their skills.
The on-line training covers the following areas:
- Understand the principles of processing financial transactions.
- Understand the double entry bookkeeping system.
- Understand discounts.
- Prepare and process financial documentation for customers.
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes and calculate payments.
- Maintain the cash book.
- Maintain petty cash records.
- Process ledger transactions and extract a trial balance
- Control accounts, journals and the banking system.
- Understand the purpose and use of control accounts
Once you have completed your training and are confident with the processes you can begin your work experience.
We have a huge portfolio of clients and you will get the opportunity to complete various tasks for these clients at home.
Duties include:
- Working on a number of client accounts.
- VAT
- Tax
- Profit and loss
- Reconciliations
- Auditing
- General accountancy duties.
There is no minimum amount of work experience you need to complete to gain a reference – just as long as you complete the tasks to the required level.
Upon completion of the training you will have the confidence to complete a range of accountancy duties.
Upon completion of the work experience you will have a credible reference to go on your CV.

Answer:It lasts for 12 months to give you flexibility, we also focus on accounts with longer deadlines so you are not overwhelmed. This is an unpaid role and focuses on work experience only.
