The ATHE Level 6 Diploma in Healthcare Management is a UK accredited course which is internationally recognised. This qualification provides subjects that are highly relevant to working in the healthcare industry. Whilst the core skills and concepts of management are still very much applicable for a manager in the healthcare industry, there are also some specific areas where managers transferring from other industries may struggle. The ATHE Level 6 qualifications consider and address those areas, strengthening your skill set for a healthcare manager position. As the Diploma in Healthcare Management is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) there is a clear progression route onto higher level course. It is a step towards a Masters qualification, offering, with appropriate periods of work experience as a manager or specialist, a pathway onto an MSc or other Masters.
Description
The ATHE Level 6 Diploma in Healthcare Management is a qualification with a minimum of 120 credits. The course consists of 10 units. Assessment is one assignment per unit. There are no examinations.

Requirements
Be over 19 years of age,have at least 12 months work experience in the Health and or Social Care sector as a team leader, supervisor or manager.
