Overview

The course is for beginners or users of Photoshop who want to enhance their skills with it. The class covers a comprehensive range of subjects that will help enhance images and create new ones. The course is run by a fully qualified Adobe Certified Instructor with many years of experience. The course runs as follows:

Introduction to the Photoshop workspace

Layers and Layer Masks

Resizing and making adjustments to images

Use of filters to sharpen images

Colour corrections

Removing red-eye

Removing imperfections from an image

Manipulation techniques

Creating compositions and refining images by use of selections

Outputting files for web and print

Camera Raw vs JPEG

Creating preset actions

Description

The course begins with an overview of the user interface.

The course is all hands on by the attendees with everything explained in step by step detail by the Instructor and we work to the pace of the slowest attendee so nobody gets left behind.

The course material is designed to show the workspace to its fullest.

If anyone wants to study after the course time finishes at 5pm then they are more than welcome to stay and carry on working at their workstation.

We also have a photographic studio on site so any ideas the attendees have during the day can be photographed in the evening and used for personal work at their leisure.

Who is this course for?

Anyone wanting to enhance their career in digital media or wanting to get into digital media, the Adobe Photoshop course offers attendees a full week tuition which will enhance their skills in Photoshop and prepare themselves for the Adobe Certified Associate exam which can be taken on the final day.

A course book will be given to the attendees at the start of the week which they can keep. This book has 14 lessons, quizzes and online practice tests which they can use to assess their progress.

Requirements

No requirements are necessary. The course is designed for beginners upwards.
