Personal Banking Manager

We are retained as Human Resourcers for this major UK high street bank, with retail outlets operating throughout the UK and overseas. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a branch based Personal Banking Manager working within a non-regualted environment offering a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities:
Good Service and Sales skills - offering help and advice to existing customers - Self motivated to exceed targets and objectives - Identifying and approaching customers by phone to secure appointments.

Targeted in the following key areas:
Personal Lending & Savings Accounts generating new business to the bank - Business Generation of leads/appointments passed on to bank specialists - Identifying cross selling opportunities from the banks database.

Participation in daily and weekly team meetings to improve team results. Planning your own strategy for achievement of targets keeping knowledge of bank products and competitor activity upto date.

Experience/skills required:
Preferably a background in either the retail banking industry or similar related sector. Ability to work to targets - Experienced in selling a wide range of products. Good Interpersonal skills - Relationship building with customers and engaging colleagues in support of team targets - Working with colleagues to improve their lead generation abilities - Self motivated and able to work under your own initiative.

The working hours for the role are 38 hours per week including some Saturdays by rota.
