FP&A Analyst

Our client is a successful and growing Group of manufacturing businesses with sites throughout the UK. You will be based from the head office in Grantham.
Description
You will be reporting into the Financial Controller, and will be working as part of a fast paced finance team. Your role will be twofold: 1) improving the reporting and processes across the finance function, and 2) managing the finances of a newly incorporated business in the Group. You will have the opportunity to put your stamp on the role, and drive the reporting and process improvements. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Improving the accuracy and timely production of reporting across the finance function
- Identify and drive processes improvements across the finance function
- Business partnering non-finance stakeholders in the business, and support them by providing accurate and timely reports
- Producing financial statements - P&L, BS and TB
- Completing VAT returns
- Setting up new accounts
- Supporting with weekly stock takes
Profile
To apply for the position, you must:
- Have advanced Excel skills - ideally SQL or VBA
- Have experience of working in finance
Job Offer
- £35-45k (dependent upon experience)
- Study support for AAT, CIMA or ACCA
- A wholly office based role
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Flexible start and finish hours e.g. could do 8:30-5 with 30 minute lunch, or 9-5:30 with a 30 minute lunch, or you can take an hour for lunch etc…
